All Full Service Items: Our Major Service includes the checks and service items carried out as part of our Full Service, including an engine oil and oil filter change, air filter replacement, brake inspection, fluid level checks, battery and alternator testing, tyre checks, suspension checks and an extensive inspection of key vehicle components.
Cabin/Pollen Filter Check: We inspect the condition of the cabin or pollen filter. If replacement is recommended, we will advise you and provide a separate quotation before carrying out the work.
Comprehensive Battery and Charging System Test: We test the battery and charging system to help identify potential issues and reduce the risk of starting or charging problems.
Brake Fluid Test and Report: We test the condition of the brake fluid and report our findings. If replacement is recommended, this will be quoted separately.
Coolant and Antifreeze Check: We check and record the antifreeze protection level and inspect radiator and coolant hoses for security and leaks, along with checking cooling fan operation. If coolant replacement or additional work is recommended, we will provide a separate quotation.
Extensive Vehicle Inspection: We carry out a detailed inspection of key components and systems, including the brakes, steering, suspension, exhaust, tyres, wheel bearings, engine and gearbox mounts, fuel lines, brake pipes and other safety-related components.
Additional Service Checks: We also carry out further checks including the fuel filter, ignition or glow plug system, starter motor operation, interior warning lamps and switches, under-body condition and other items included within our Major Service inspection.
Spark plugs for petrol engines and glow plugs for diesel engines are not included as standard in the Major Service. If replacement is required, we will provide a quotation prior to fitting. Platinum or iridium spark plugs and manufacturer-specific parts may carry an additional charge. Fuel filter replacement is also not included as standard and will be quoted separately where required. The cabin/pollen filter, brake fluid and coolant are checked as part of the service, but replacement is not included as standard and will be quoted separately where recommended.
